The Team

Faye Mascarenas, an accomplished seamstress, has lived in Italy and Japan. Exposure to those cultures has given her a unique insight into the delicacies of fabric design and manipulation.
Although not introduced to the art of quilting until the change of the millennium, she quickly recognized the similarity between apparel design and quilting. Furthering her quilting skills, in 2002, Faye purchased her first long arm quilting machine, a Gammill Optima Plus on a 14 foot adjustable table.

Not being content with “self learning”,  Faye has attended several long arm quilter seminars and has hosted a course for the Long Arm University. Wanda Faye is committed to formal education on techniques that improve her craft.

Mike Mascarenas is the business and computer end of the Team.  Mike also lived in Italy and Japan, therefore enjoys Wanda Faye's insights first hand.  Mike uses cameras and computers to do preproduction layouts.
